Can Shiba Inu Delete A Zero If Bitcoin Hits $100,000?

Shiba Inu (SHIB) has struggled to gain momentum since late 2024. The popular dog-themed cryptocurrency hit $0.000032 in December 2024, but has been on a downward trajectory since. SHIB gained a zero after its decimal point in November 2025 and is facing significant hurdles to get rid of it. Let’s discuss if Shiba Inu (SHIB) can delete a zero if Bitcoin (BTC) reclaims the $100,000 price level later this year.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) seems to be following Bitcoin’s (BTC) trajectory. BTC recently experienced a steep rally, hitting $80,000 after months of struggle. BTC’s rally pulled the larger market with it. SHIB joined in on the fun as well, briefly reclaiming $0.000006. However, BTC’s price has since dipped to the $78,000 mark, and SHIB has also faced a correction following BTC’s dip. The movements seem to suggest that SHIB is currently moving in tandem with BTC.

Now the question is if Bitcoin (BTC) can hit $100,000 by the end of this year, and if Shiba Inu (SHIB) will then finally delete a zero. Wall Street firms, Bernstein and Standard chartered anticipate BTC to hit $100,000 by the end of this year. Bernstein predicts BTC to hit $125,000, while Standard Chartered predicts BTC to test its previous peak of $126,000. Such a scenario could potentially push SHIB to the $0.00001 price level or beyond.

Nonetheless, there are challenges for Shiba Inu (SHIB). The recent cryptocurrency market rally was likely fueled by President Trump’s statement that the US may purchase a large amount of cryptocurrencies and the US Treasuries decision to increase bond buybacks. However, the Treasury will have to refill its coffers and the liquidity may flow out of the crypto market. Such a move could lead to Shiba Inu (SHIB) and other cryptocurrencies facing a price dip. If BTC’s rally falters, SHIB will likely not delete a zero.
