Interactive Brokers has launched Ethereum staking for eligible Interactive Brokers LLC clients, adding the service through the Staking Dashboard in its Client Portal. The feature, announced on October 13, 2026, enables clients to stake ETH and receive rewards credited as additional staked cryptocurrency, according to Interactive Brokers.
The launch gives the broker’s crypto customers a way to stake Ethereum through the same portal they use to manage their Interactive Brokers account. The operational work is handled by digital-asset infrastructure provider zerohash, so the broker does not have to run those systems itself.
Ethereum staking arrives in Interactive Brokers’ Client Portal
Eligible clients can use the Staking Dashboard in Client Portal to submit requests to stake or unstake Ethereum and monitor pending activity, The Block reported. At launch, ETH is the only cryptocurrency supported for staking.
Interactive Brokers said rewards will be credited as additional staked cryptocurrency and may compound while they remain staked.
Interactive Brokers said zerohash provides the staking infrastructure, including validator operations and rewards accounting, while Client Portal provides the request and monitoring tools.
zerohash runs the validator and rewards infrastructure
zerohash provides the infrastructure for the Interactive Brokers service through an API integration. Its responsibilities include blockchain infrastructure, validator operations, rewards accounting and compliance, Interactive Brokers said in its announcement.
The arrangement gives Interactive Brokers a route to present a staking feature to customers without itself operating the validators or the underlying blockchain infrastructure. It also separates the visible broker interface from the systems that process staking activity and track rewards.
Validator operations are a core part of proof-of-stake networks such as Ethereum, where staked assets are used within the network’s validation process. For Interactive Brokers clients, the relevant product flow is instead the ability to submit staking or unstaking instructions and see pending activity through the broker’s portal.
The parties did not disclose financial terms for the integration in the announcements cited. Interactive Brokers’ description identifies zerohash as the provider for both the technical operations and the rewards-accounting and compliance components of the service.

The rollout starts with one staking asset
Ethereum staking arrives even as Interactive Brokers says its platform supports trading in 20 digital assets. The comparison underscores the limited initial scope: clients can trade a broader set of cryptocurrencies, but staking is currently available only for ETH.
According to the broker, crypto commissions start at 0.12% to 0.18% of trade value, subject to a $1.75 minimum per order; the supplied launch materials do not set out separate staking charges.
The launch follows zerohash’s own Staking-as-a-Service announcement on June 25, 2026. In that release, zerohash named Interactive Brokers, Public and BitMart as initial launch partners for the institutional product.
That service began with Ethereum support, while Solana staking was planned for a later date. No additional staking assets or timetable for their availability through Interactive Brokers were announced alongside the broker’s Ethereum launch.
