Could XRP Price Be About to Repeat a Historic Rally?

An XRP rally is picking up speed right now, and it is easy to see why. XRP price jumped more than 5% today, on September 15, after news broke that the U.S. Senate will hold a procedural vote on the CLARITY Act, and that pushed XRP back above $1.4. The XRP rally chance now leans heavily on that vote, and the XRP price forecast splits into two fairly clear paths depending on how it goes. Clearing the XRP resistance above $1.7 looks realistic if the bill advances, while a rejection could send XRP back down toward $1.3.

XRP Rally Prediction, Price Forecast And Resistance Signal A Move

XRP Rally Gains Steam Ahead Of The Clarity Act Vote

The Senate vote needs at least 60 votes to move forward, and Senate Republicans are pushing hard for it, though they still need around six Democratic senators on board. Elizabeth Warren, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Banking Committee, spoke out against the bill on Monday evening, arguing that it does not stop Trump from continuing to profit off crypto businesses. Senate Republicans, for their part, described their latest text this way.

Senate Republicans stated:

“the final, best, and last offer presented to Democrats.”

The bill would place most decentralized digital asset transactions under the jurisdiction of the CFTC rather than the SEC, and that shift matters for XRP, a token that has spent years fighting SEC lawsuits over its securities status.

Celal Kucuker’s XRP Rally Chance Rests On A Repeat Pattern

Kucuker’s chart shows two descending resistance lines, and both carry a 13.55° angle, one from before XRP’s late 2024 breakout and one from the current decline. He argues that XRP sits close to its 50-day moving average right now, near where the earlier rally started, and he is projecting a possible 600% move that could push XRP above $9 if the pattern plays out again.

Where XRP Resistance Now Sits Before Any Bigger Move

The vote outcome maps fairly closely onto the technical picture already in play. XRP has failed to push past $1.49 to $1.55 five separate times, and even August’s rally could not hold above it for long. If the CLARITY Act clears its 60-vote threshold, that XRP resistance zone could give way and open the door toward the previous high near $1.7. If it falls short, profit-taking could pull XRP back to around $1.3, close to where a six-month volume weighted average price currently sits.

Between the vote and the chart pattern, XRP now has two separate paths toward a bigger move, and both feed into the same XRP price forecast. A yes vote plus a close above $1.7 would strengthen both the near-term XRP rally prediction and Kucuker’s bigger XRP rally chance, while a no vote would likely stall things and drag XRP back toward its lower range. Either way, the next few hours matter a lot for XRP.
